Meet Some of the Speakers
Mr. Gasser has long-standing experience and a broad-based track record in domestic as well as international politics, diplomacy and financial market policy. He started his career at the international Committee of the Red Cross, where he led negotiations in the Near and Middle East. Later, he acted in several senior positions with the Swiss government, most recently as the State Secretary of the State Secretariat for International Finance (FIC).
Mr. Mesaric has over 20 years of experience in Precious Metal Trading. For the UBS he lead intentional teams as the Head of Precious Metals Trading. After that, for the Credit Suisse, he served as the Head of the Global Foreign Equity Trading Department, the Global Physical Gold Trading Department and the Central Banks Relationships Department. In August 2002, Mr. Mesaric became CEO of Valcambi.

Ms. Mirza has worked in the energy and commodities industry, where she dealt with compliance, legal and regulatory matters. She read law at the London School of Economics and went onto qualify as a solicitor. Ms. Mirza then joined the LMBA, where she has taken the lead on a number of projects.

Mr. Röösli has more than 15 years of experience in the global precious metal market. In his role as the CEO of Loomis International, he headed up the firm's global high-security vaulting and transportation services for precious metals. Mr. Röösli has joined the aXedras management team with the ambition to develop a new and holistic solution for the precious metals industry. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.

Mr. Suess has more than 20 years of experience in finance and wealth management. He co-founded multiple businesses. Mr. Suess is a former manager at Price Waterhouse where he focused on process re-engineering and supply chain management. He holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Saint Mary's College.

Mr. Höchli grew up in Engelberg and has been successful as an entrepreneur for many years. He got involved in politics in his young years and has stayed active ever since. He is a member of the Swiss party CVP. He is also the Talammann (Chairman of the Community) of Engelberg and represents Engelberg at the cantonal level as a member of the Council of the Canton of Obwalden.
